YouTube is testing a new feature. The new feature will allow the user to purchase the direct product, which will appear in the video. Viewers will be able to find and purchase products featured in YouTube videos. The feature is currently being tested in the US with limited users on Android, iOS and the web. The creator, who is part of the testing, can attach some products to his video that will be available for purchase through the shopping bag icon.
The company has shared details of the feature being tested on the Google support page. The company said that these features will give viewers information about the product seen in the video and the option to buy it. YouTube says it is currently working with selected creators on this pilot project.
